Shipping, ordering, and delivery

How do I use my store credit? (labor credits)

You will first add one or more items to your cart here on your online Vivid EV store. Click on the store credit widget in the top right. Choose how much credit you want to apply and then click checkout. Store credit cannot be applied to shipping. 

Where is my order confirmation?

This is automatically sent to your email address when you place an order. If you haven’t received your order confirmation within 24 hours, please get in touch at dealersupport@vivid-ev.com just in case there’s a problem with your order. Please check your mailbox’s spam or junk folder before contacting in case the order confirmation has been diverted there.

What if I'm missing items from my order?

For any missing items on an order, a warranty claim will need to be submitted with "Missing/incorrect part" as the claim type here on your Vivid EV dealer portal. Once the team has reviewed, any missing items will be processed and shipped at no cost to the dealer.

Can I alter my order?

Sadly, we’re unable to modify your order once we’ve started processing it. If you need to order a greater quantity or an additional product, please place a new order online. 

If you need help confirming which part to order, you can reach out to techsupport@vivid-ev.com and provide the Model type, serial number, and a picture of the replacement part you are needing.

How much is shipping?

Shipping costs will vary and depend on the item you’ve ordered and the destination where it’s being delivered. All items over 25 lbs will ship LTL Freight/ Pallet. Shipping rates will be calculated at checkout and are subject to review. Final invoice will be sent or charged to the card on file for your account.

LTL/Pallet rates are subject to change - LTL freight rates vary from $130 - $450 depending on weight and distance traveled. Final invoices will be sent to dealer email and payments will be processed to card on account. 

 

 

Can I track my order?

Yes. We’ll provide updates at every stage of your order, from the moment you place it, through to despatch and delivery. In your delivery confirmation emails, you’ll receive a tracking reference which you can use to check the progress of your order online.

Can I dropship to a customer?

Depending on the customer, this will vary. We can dropship most parts that are easy to install for the customer like chargers, windshields ect. It is not recommended to have customers install mechanical or electrical components due to liability reasons. We prefer our dealers to install these types of parts to prevent improper installation. We do not dropship parts for warranty.

End User FAQs

How often should I charge my Vivid EV?

For optimal performance, it is reccommended to charge after every use but they should not be left on the charger for extended periods of time when they are fully charged. Overcharging can damage the battery and shorten it's lifespan. Charge continuously for 8-10 hours, prefereably overnight, using the Eco Battery charger.

Does my warranty transfer if I sell my vehicle?

Yes, we do offer a transferrable warranty. The orginal owner or dealer needs to provide the bill of sale and Cart information to Vivid EV to be updated. The new owner will continue the remainder of the existing warranty coverage.

How do I register my Eco Battery for warranty?

The dealer must advise the end user to register their battery within 90 days of pchasse to activate the 8-year limited warranty. Batteries not registered within 90 days of purchase will carry a 1 year limited warranty only!

How fast can my Vivid EV go?

All standard models leave the factory and are set to 19 mph. Only Vivid Authorized dealers can increase the speed and program them up to 25 mph when LSV compliant. Except for Golf models*

What is the driving range on my Vivid EV vehicle?

Driving range on a full charge will vary and depend on load(weight), terrain, and driving styles of the driver. Hills & stop and go will require high amerperage draw that shortens battery capacity and run time. Faster speeds decresase range quicker. For best distance, we reccomend to drive under 19 mph. On Average, most models can go up to 30 miles on a full charge.

Can my Vivid EV car be made into an LSV or street legal?

Absolutely! As long as the vehicle is outfitted with all the safety equipment required by your local state as well as Federal Mandates. This will vary by state! Dealers will need to order a VIN from Vivid EV.

Does Vivid EV sell conversion kits?

We do not sell conversion kits at this time. It doesn't make sense for our business since we offer all available sizes (2,4, and 6 passenger vehicles)

All replacement parts available for order are for the specific make and models that we currently carry. All modifications made to our carts are at the discretion of the dealer and are not reccomended as conversions will void the warranty.

What does Vivid EV consider to be the driver's side for ordering replacement parts?

Vivid EV determines the driver's side to be the left side for standard ordering. Rule of thumb is to determine this as you are sitting in the Driver's seat. 

What does Vivid EV consider to be the passenger's side for ordering replacement parts?

Vivid considers the passenger's side to be the right side for standard ordering as if you are sitting in the driver's seat.

Does Vivid EV sell additional accessories like enclosures?

If you don't see the accessories you're looking for, there are addtional accessories such as enclosures that are available for order

Where is my serial number?

For the V models, the serial number is located on the frame under the drivers seat. 

For Peak or Anthem models, the serial number is located on the frame under the driver's side front wheel well.

Is Hardware included when ordering replacement parts?

Most replacement parts will not come with new hardware for installation and the existing hardware on the cart is meant to be re-used for installation. If you find the existing hardware is damaged or lost, you can email techsupport@vivid-ev and we'll give you store credit to run to your local hardware store and grab what you need.

Issues with my Eco Battery

All trouble shooting and warranty replacement for any service issues with the batteries are faciliated by Eco Battery.

Please ensure your customer or the dealer completes the warranty registration for the battery within 90 days of purchase to activate the 8 year limited warranty. Batteries not registered within 90 days will only carry a 1 year limited warranty.

How can I tell if my model type is lifted or non-lifted?

The easiest way to tell is to look at the tires. Street tires are non-lifted and all-terrain tires are lifted. The second way you can tell is to look at the lower A-arm and see if it has 2 holes or four. Two holes is non-lifted and four holes in lifted. You can always email photos to techsupport@vivid-ev.com to confirm.

How do I submit a warranty claim?

We keep it simple! To submit a warranty claim, you will click on the warrany tab at the top of your main menu here on your Vivid EV Dealer portal and select Warranty Claim in the dropdown. You will fill in all the info and hit submit when complete, it's that easy! All claims are reviewed and then processed within 24-48 hours! 

How do I register my customer's Vivid EV for Warranty?

Congrats, you sold a Vivid EV! To ensure your customer's warranty coverage for any replacement parts needed, you will need to complete the warranty registration here: https://vividevdealers.com/pages/car-registration. You can also access the registration right here on your Vivid EV dealer portal. You will click on the warranty tab on the main menu and select Warranty Registration.
